So I'm sitting in a hotel room because I'm away on work duties and I notice on Google there is a huge guitar shop (huge for this country anyway (UK)) just up the road.
Thing is, I would really love to go up there and try out a load of guitars. I've never tried a really good Les Paul or a Strat with a nice thick neck (On my Strat the neck is too thin.), and this would be a great opportunity to find out what I really want (and help a few decisions re: my Warmoth if I can ever get the money together). Plus it would be a great chance to rock out (they've got booths where you can really crank stuff)
However, I'm thinking that I can't afford whatever I fall in love with, certainly not for a long long time anyway. And I know I may do just that, fall in love with an unattainable guitar. This disaster scenario would leave me in a state of increased frustration and longing from this day until I could finally purchase said dream guitar, not to mention a much bigger GAS problem.
Dilemma.
