Thanks. For these I just used a Canon G12. It's a really great point n shoot. I use it when I'm too lazy to bring out the Nikon.

That G12 is a nice little camera. I see they're up to the G16 now. I have a Canon Powershot A570 that does most of what I need it to, but it's really sensitive about battery freshness when you get to extremes of focus. I do a lot of macro shooting, so I find myself at extremes more often than not. I just had to toss a series of unrepeatable shots because I wasn't checking them as I went. Pissed me off. Not the first time, either, so I'm sorta in the market for a replacement. Thinking about a Fujifilm Finepix S8300 or a Nikon Coolpix P510.

That's unbelievably good for a phone camera. My 5C does a pretty good job too. What DOESN'T take pictures nowadays?!

Cagey, I got my daughter a Fujifilm camera, and for the money it was great. I think they're underrated in this country.

...You're probable the only person in the US using one, and your phone carrier is saying.."geeeese, won't this guy let it die. We killed that dinosaur 65 millions years ago". Don't be surprised if they call and tell you 2003 wants it's phone back...
