Custom made pickups

    I'm planning my next build. It's a Mustang, and I've narrowed my pickup choices down to Novak or Roadhouse pickups.  I'm wondering if anyone has had expericence ordering CUSTOM MADE pickups from these guys, and if you got what you wanted.  Also, if you've bought single coils from them, is the 60 cycle hum more or less noticeable than any other pickup manufacter?

I have a bunch of Roadhouse pickups.  The single coils are not hum canceling by design, but they are quiet and superbly built.  Ken, or TroubledTreble on this board, makes them.  He does something differently with his line (Specials) and they have a large amount of what I can only describe as depth.  Did I get what I wanted?  Yes.  If they do not turn out right, he will rewind them.  Several people on the board have offerings from him.
