Cool musical instrument photography

Those are pretty cool, this one looks like it could be a room in a house..

Some very interesting perspectives. Some of them you gotta wonder how they pulled them off. It would seem the instrument would have had to been destroyed or something.

That would make sense, but it seems like those would have fairly short focal lengths. I don't know. Nobody will let me play in the OR. Dunno why. I'm good at fixin' stuff...

Great stuff!

I'm 99% sure that they were done with a regular camera and macro lens.  I'm guessing that the stringed instruments were modified to allow access for the lens.

My guess would be an internal mirror, and extension rings to handle any minimum focus issues. Which reminds me I need to find my extension rings for my Pentax gear. All I can find is my medium format tubes, and I haven't developed anything in a looong time now.

Some of these almost look digitally produced...the name plate on the inside of the violin look like it has no texture.  I don't know  :dontknow: either way this is super legit, nice link  :kewlpics:

Oh, I think there would be some kind of digital fiddling going on, because he does that all the time.  He's a commercial artist/photographer.  Here's another one of his works:
