Conversion neck bridge setup

Hi,

Sorry for a noob question about the 24.75" conversion necks.

I want to setup a guitar with a new bridge that I just bought, and having little experience, its kinda hard for me.

How do you guys setup the conversion necks?

Do you stick in a normal 25.5" neck and setup the bridge like normal.. and then you put in the conversion neck?

No - the conversion necks are designed to work with the same bridge to pocket geometry as 25.5" scale fenders. You can just pop in your conversion neck and set it up as normal. You don't need a 25.5" scale neck at all. Same with the 28.675" scale necks.  Only 7/8 necks and jaguar/mustang necks are incompatible.

I just set up a VIP with a Pro conv 24.75 neck and a Gogh 510 bridge. It works but I had to push the 510 pretty far, almost to its farthest limit, before the intonation was ok.

I'm looking at building another VIP with the 24.75 neck but with a Wilkinson trem. I'm worried that the trem won't be adjustable far enough to intonate. Has anyone put a Wilkinson trem on this neck?
