Does Warmoth make chambered Basswood strats or is Basswood too soft a wood for chambering? Perhaps a maple top would help strenghten it for chambering?

The lighter the better.

I can't play none chambered guitars anymore due to the weight.

I'm hoping the chambering will give the basswood a bit more oomph in the tone dept.

This proposed lightweight guitar should have an all-titanium tremolo.

I'm not familiar with what all tatinum floyds do or sound like. Do you have any experience with them?

I think I'd try a tungsten steinberger bridge and headless neck instead. I agree it sounds interesting, but balance will likely be an issue.

I checked into titanium floyds. YIKES!!! A unit will cost me over $1000. I can get an entire guitar for that much. I will pass!!!!

Yeah, I looked into those before and experienced the same sticker shock. Bloody thing would have to give me a LOT more than slightly increased sustain and resonance (which is only supported by hearsay and marketing weenies) before I'd lay out that kind of cash.

Mr. Roman sells a lot of questionable things; ain't no new news there. And even he's spreading hearsay. From the video: "The tone, I'm told, is gonna be simply awesome!" (emphasis mine) So, nobody knows what good it is. But, somehow, they know it's gonna be "awesome". So, get out your credit card! Eddie Van Halen got a free one, so they must be good!

Sounds like male enhancement pills <grin>
