Ok so i decided to get a carvin neck instead of a warmoth neck(yaeh warmoth has the jackson style neck but not in a 7 string type)so my question is would that fit on a soloist body?

The Carvin Bolt-on stuff is supposed to be Fender compatible as well, however I'm unclear.  Is this a 7-string? The Warmoth 7-string stuff isn't Fender compatible as far as I know so I couldn't vouch for a Carvin 7-string neck working, and I'm unaware or a Warmoth 7-String Soloist.

I guess it doesn't have to be, but assuming the Carvin neck is compatible with the Warmoth body, how are you going to attach it?  All of the Warmoth necks and bodies are bolt-ons.

Looking at the Carvin site, the only 7-string neck I saw was a neck-thru with a paddle head.  Didn't see any bolt-ons.

Now, Warmoth has done some 7-string options not listed on their site.  I've seen 7-string Explorers and SGs complete with matching headstocks.  Call and see if they could do a 7-string Soloist with Jackson pointy headstock.
