Has anyone ever reinforced a broken headstock by using layered epoxy and carbon fiber sheets?
If you have, no further explanation is needed. If not, think about it and offer your opinion as well.

I've used carbon fiber sticks to repair badly broken necks before, and as a neck reinforcement in bodies with bolt-on necks, and I know of makers who layer sheets of carbon fiber in their builds - in braces, pegheads, and so on. Keep the epoxy to a minimum...

I usually buy mine from Luthiers Mercantile.
