HELP!

I am in desperate need of someone that owns a Warmoth Firebird neck!  :redflag:

Here is my problem.  I have my custom firebird on order and am ready for the usual 6 to 8 week pain of anticipation.
I am also having a custom pickguard and truss rod cover [TRC] made from an artist in Germany.
Since standard Gibson parts do not fit Warmoth bodies, I need to supply the Warmoth parts to use for patterns.
I have a W firebird pickguard that I am sending to Germany.  However I do not have a truss rod cover.

The good folks at W cannot send me any diagram or measurements of the headstock to make the truss rod cover.
I understand their stance; they are in the business of selling parts, not providing details for after market parts.
They also made it clear that the Gibson TRC does not fit the Warmoth.

My artist in Germany told me they could make the TRC if they had some close-up picks of the W firebird headstock.
I am hoping to find someone with a Warmoth firebird neck that may be able to take a couple close-up picks of their head stock.
I need one with a ruler next to the headstock for length and one next to the headstock for width.

If anyone might be able to help me out with such pics, I would be happy to provide some compensation.
I just do not want to wait for 6 to 8 weeks for my W parts and then another 4 to 6 weeks for my TRC from Germany.
Please let me know if you can help a brotha' out and how I can take care of you.

Thanks!
Bart

Well, I don't really think you'll have a problem with the Truss Rod Cover... But if nobody have it (couldn't find on W site) and they sell you one, could be good buy and ask the guy to copy it...

But if nothing works, I wouldn't get much worried about the TRC...

Looking at a Warmoth Firebird neck, it looks like the truss rod setup is the same as it is on Warmoth headstock/necks, in that case the cover that ships with the neck is plain and approximately the same size/shape as the PRS truss rod cover on this page from eBay:

Yes, I knew the basic truss rod cover from Warmoth would work.
The problem is that I am having a TRC made similar in shape to the Gibson Firebird TRC.
The difference is instead of Gibson being cut out, it will have flame shapes cut out.
The folks at W told me the Gibson TRC will not fit becasue the mounting screws will hit the truss rod.
So, I am trying to have it designed so the mounting screws will not damage anything.
