I was going to do a build about a year ago and then I found a good deal on a 2002 MIM tele so I bought that. Now I have modded it some and was about to do some irreversible mods when I decided I should just build one to mod as I please and leave this one standard.
Anyway, I am looking to do a tele and was wondering what the difference in a cabronita body and a standard body would be.
I just want one rear HB and rear route for controls. The only diff I can tell is the size/shape of the rear controls route. Main concern I have is depth of rout for pickup. The vintage tele route depth is less than the standard so my HB may not work in the vintage and was wondering if anyone knows about the cab route depth. $25 aint much (but it is $25) if all else is the same, I can get equivalent Cabrinita and save the $25.
Also assuming the vintage strat flat mount is what I want for a vintage tele 3 saddle bridge, but would appreciate feedback.
