hi guys, thinking of replacing the bridge on my blacktop tele when i do the pickups. which would be a better pick, one of these (http://www.warmoth.com/Gotoh-Humbucker-Tele-Bridge-Chrome-P604C709.aspx) or these (http://www.stewmac.com/shop/Bridges,_tailpieces/Electric_guitar,_non-trem_bridges/Gotoh_Hardtail_Bridge.html?tab=Details#details)?

also, does anyone have any experience with the Gotoh Wilkinson VSVG, specifically would it fit a body drilled for Warmoth's "6 hole vintage" option?
thanks!

Yer gonna have to drill some holes one way or the other.  The Blacktop body has three screw holes behind the string holes.  The Gotoh hardtail from Stewmac has five screws, three behind and two ahead of the string holes, with the three behind spaced differently than stock.  The Tele style/humbucker bridge from Warmoth has four ahead of the string holes.

You also might want to look at the distance from string holes to pickup route - the full-coverage Tele/bucker bridge might have different measurements, and thus could really cheese you off if it doesn't line up right.  For that reason alone, I'd say go with the Stewmac Gotoh hardtail.

Some diagrams:

Warmoth Gotoh diagram is at http://www.warmoth.com/hardware/bridges/pdf/Gotoh_Tele_Humbucker_Diagram.pdf, and the Stewmac diagram is at:
