Hi Unofficial Warmoth:
It's been a few years since I was here (name of tfarny, not sure what happened to my login info). Looks like there's some great instruments being built around here.
I pretty much stopped playing electric and right now, times are tight. I have this great strat that was kind of a board build:
Flame maple / Pao Ferro VM neck, 59 roundback. Sperzels and a very light matte poly finish (feels smooth and not sticky).
Very light one piece (really) swamp ash body with a gorgeous nitro finish from Tonar of UW board fame. I forget the exact weight but it's around 3.5 lb for the body. Tonar, you really do know how to paint 'em.
Vintage wind strat pickup set from Ken at Roadhouse pickups - he wound these while he was starting up his business. Hey Ken! Hope it's going well, your website looks awesome.
Other hardware is the standard stuff - Gotoh bridge. I'm missing the whammy bar and the plastic tip for the selector, and I wired it up so pulling on the bridge tone activates series mode (humbucker mode) for the pickups.
It's got some dings and minor scrapes, it's not "reliced" or anything like that, just played and used. It's got a great clean old strat tone. includes a clean gig bag. Shipping from 12508 or NYC area pickup (preferred).
I actually don't want to sell it, but for the right price I kind of have to right now. PM me what you think it's worth.
