Dear friends, guitar players, etc etc.
In case you may not remember me, here's a small bio. Hi! I am Orpheo, I live in the Netherlands! I studies physics, now history. I have 31 guitars of which are 26 les pauls. I am a les paul-lover to the bone. I had some issues at the start of '12, but now, with a new home, new job and an education that seems to be running fine, I can say: I'm Bach!
And now, let's cut the crap.
Six weeks ago I got contacted by Seymour Duncan if I were willing to write 4 articles a month for them, in exchange for a free pickup set. I'd have to write four articles first, and if they were OK, I might be asked to stay. I wrote my articles, submitted them, and the first of four just got online!

The other three are about wax potting, inductance/impedence/resistance and neck vs bridge pickups. I have been asked indeed to stay with the program for a while longer, and I have been asked indeed which pickups I want: the PATB3 (blues saraceno) and the screamin demon (george lynch) are coming my way. It's official from this moment on: I have more pickups than pickup cavities!I'm making hybrids as if my life depended on it: x2n/invader and jb/superdistortion are the hybrids I'm working on right now.
My new blogs will be about tone chambers, my crimson guitars, 3 pickup les paul wiring schematics and a fourth, to be decided subject.
I hope you'll enjoy the reads and I hope I can go online a bit more often to keep track of this board. I learned so much from you guys, it's incredible. Thanks for everything!
