Enjoy!  :party07:

I dig it! To me it's a little more thoroughly conceived "fleshed out" than the other stuff you've posted recently, and I like it. It begs for vocals in the style of Matt Tuck.  :headbang:

What do you have lined up in the Helix for those crushing tones?

Thanks! I was definitely thinking of that style when I wrote it.

So in that patch, it goes
Guitar>Red Squeeze (barely compressing, just enough to even out some stray chugs)>Scream 808 (gain 0, volume 10, tone 5)>PV Panama (gain around 7, all eq around 6.5)> cali v30 cab, with SM57, 1" distance, and 80Hz low cut> very slight spring reverb to smooth itt out
And voila!

Thanks! I'm still trying to find a good happy-medium for the low end on my master bus. I have some experimentation to do with low cuts and limiters.

I low cut every track around 40-60hz depending on the instrument.  Same with highs between 6.5K - 12.xx depending on the same.  You'll know when you go too far.  This will allow you to mix/master at louder and cleaner levels.

Only took me 4 years to figure out lol.  Then I decided to actually look up tips lol.  You're still young and fresh, brother!  Don't go down my path!

Dude!  I totally dig that!  That main riff is outstanding, the rhythm section is very cool, and the arrangement/changes flow naturally.  Kind of makes me think of newer Judas Priest.  :headbang1:

Thanks! I'm pretty proud of this one.
It's funny, today I couldn't think of any riffs at all, and I was getting frustrated. But then i remembered I wrote three songs this week, so it's nothing for me to worry about.. Haha

Nice. I haven't spent much time with the Panama model, but I think I will...

Riffs will come!

Really glad to hear you progress!  Keeping me on my toes, too!  Reminds me of highschool - my best friend and I picked up guitar around the same time.  Every weekend we'd jam and try to our riff each other haha.  Good times and great tones from that Line6.

I like it, but my favorite (for high gain) is the Cali Rectifire. I'm going to try re-amping it with the two mixed together. (Takes less dsp than running a patch with two mono paths)
