Can I hear a vote on this one?  Smoked chrome just does not go as well with black hardware.

It would certainly be nice to have the option - so far though, I've used 3 sets of the smoked chrome ones and very nice they look too.

I like the smoked chrome, too, particularly on a dark wooded neck.  But on a maple neck/headstock with black hardware, a black logo just seems much more fitting.  Is it just me?

I got smoked chrome, but I see what you're saying about the black.  It'd work given the correct set of circumstances, ie black hardware.

Well, we don't know unless we make the suggestion in the suggestion box.  The other option is the sticker that comes with the necks.  Black with grey outline.  I'd prefer black metallic, if it could be done.

Like the SS6100 frets.
