Well I couldn't take it, so I had to finish up the light outlining burning...

I understand. You get excited, and there's no leaving it alone. Looks good. You're going to make people envious. Keep track of your time - you may have to give somebody a price to do their next axe <grin>

By all means, BURN, BABY, BURN. (I'm late to the thread!) We need far more burning & painting & beaver-on-a-stick, not less, IMNSHO. What happens here ALL THE TIME is somebody finds an ducky guitar in the showcase, a nubby fingerboard in, ummm, "fingerboards", and they SCREW IT TOGETHER. And we go "OOOH! AAAH! You RAWK!"

I mean, GOD made the trees, the LUMBERJACKS* cut them down, WARMOTH slices 'em up, glues the bits together and gooshes on the pretty? Where is the proper location of the OOOH! AAAH!, then?
"Whoa, dude, even Stradivari never did pickguard screws that awesomely! Du-uude...." :party07:

Let's say you had a hundred monkeys, and a hundred computers, and each computer only had one BIG button on the keyboard -

BUY IT NOW!

How long would take the monkeys to generate an OOOH-worthy "design".... :icon_scratch:

Unfortunately, Stradivari was not known for his pickguard screws. It's a shame he did not achieve much fame in his lifetime. Serious musicians laughed at him for not doing it the way Leo Fender did.  :dontknow:

About this point, all the creativity-jackboot-stomping totalitarian anti-art wood-purist Nazis can be heard muttering
All I got from Warmoth is this lousy boar-oard"....

snif. :sad1:
