not sure,,, it looks good,, but,, not sure ,,was going to install it on another tele,,the bridge looks real nice,, not crazy about the logo,,,and the price,,,! but it should work nicely.. anyone out there use these bridges?
Dunno. On the plus side, it supposedly does offer "unmatched stability, increased sustain, dramatically improved fullness and tone along with complete adjustability". I'll wager it'll cure your asthma, too. Of course, those are easy claims since Leo's original Tele bridge design left so much room for improvement. If you can ignore the blatant cry for recognition emblazoned on the poor thing, it's not an unattractive part. And I'm sure it works at least as well as any bridge with individually adjustable saddles. I wouldn't buy one on purpose, but I wouldn't let it collect dust in the parts drawer, either.
thats about the same way i feel about it... glad i got it for cost.......a sure bet is all black tele.....
i think the koa top would do better with out it...
I've only built one Tele, and I used the Gotoh bridge. Nice part, but the saddle height adjustment set screws are unusually and unnecessarily long, so you may want to do something about those if you go that route. I just put some Graphtech "String Saver" saddles on, and while it's an improvement, it's not a cure if you don't want any set screw protrusion.
yes i saw the post on the goto problem.... i will put this bridge on my other tele,
see how i like it,, and take it from there........oh cagey,,, the post you left me on neck woods,,, was good...
got me moving in the right direction,,, limited budget on the neck so,,, pau ferro with ebony f/b..is top on my list.
will wait for the right one on the showcase.from what i can see they have been putting out some nice ones lately.
I heard good things about the Babicz bridges & almost got one for my tele, but the giant logo was a deal breaker. I have no idea why they feel the need to have it on there in such bold lettering. It wouldn't be so bad if it was smaller & stamped on.
Your koa body is so nice that I think the white log takes away from the beauty of the grain.
I have a gotoh tele bridge that I'm really happy with. Looks plain, but sounds great.
