First of all - some notes:

1. This is unmixed/mastered - nothing planned here.  I literally just hit "record" and went through each of the pickup positions (with split bridge included) to show you guys what these Dimarzios sound like in a blues context. I trimmed out some dead space in between.
2. Pickup positions change throughout, beginning on position 1, or the "neck".
3. Threw a mic (on axis, so a touch brighter than it is in person) in front of a 1x12 openback cab loaded with a WGS ET65.  Used my unfinished head with a Wampler Tumnus in the front end for overdrive.  Stereo verb courtesy of LogicX.  No EQ/mixing/etc
4. Don't judge the slop!  I haven't played in about 4 months!  Shameful, slop.  Focus on the tone.
5. I'll do a more polished version soon covering a wider variety of tones.  This is pretty clean as far as I usually go.
6. No noise gate used!  My console is 5 ft away from a large flourescent light running over my electronics bench. I have also installed an EMI/Filtered IEC inlet into my amp to eliminate line trash.
7. This file will be deleted in a week!

Neck - VV 54 Pro
Middle - Area 67
Bridge - Breed

Thank u.

You know, I've had about half a dozen warmoth bodies. Some were chambered some weren't.  Some chambered bodies were heavy and sounded solid. Some solid bodies were light and sounded chambered haha!

This one in particular is light and balanced!  Very resonant!

Sounds great to me - lotta versatility. You must be very pleased!

I know this is just a quick & dirty demo, but here's a quick & dirty note on reverb: it should be like a sophisticated woman's makeup. You miss it when it's gone, but it shouldn't be obvious that it's been applied.

I like my women wearing the bottle!

Haha that was an atmospheric patch I had cooking from a diff song. Guess it doesn't make sense outside of that context, but who doesn't wanna feel like they are playing guitar inside an ancient cavern within the largest forest of Narnia??

Well, it sounds gooo-oood in that forest.  :icon_thumright: Nice tone.

This is good stuff Frank. I've been tempted by a Breed set so many times, but never bit the bullet on it. If this is sloppy I should really practice a lot more.

Thanks, Gents.

I've created a pseudo-account for these types of uploads.  Look out for more great samples from "Catfish Sal DeFranco and the Flyin' Fish"!  :laughing7:

First couple of p-up positions sound very Scott Henderson, an' that ain't bad! Guitar-and you-sound great...with all you've been through to get it where it is, I hope you enjoy the hell out of it!

Sounds like you're enjoying yourself there! Great arsenal of tones packed in there, nice work  :icon_thumright: For what its worth I didn't find anything offensive in the least about your reverb. Subtle reverbs are fine and good, but big lush reverbs (let's call them "stripper reverbs" to extend on the simile) are a delight.  :icon_biggrin:

Haha!  Well, I plan on doing up some demo tracks of my refreshed amp.  There will definetely be some hooker-verb on that.  :laughing7:
