Bass VI wiring diagram

Finally have everything I need to get my Bass VI assembled, and I had a question about the wiring schematic I'm planning to work from.  Does this look valid to all you wiring gurus?  I won't be using the 4th switch (tone cut), and I also won't be putting brass plates in the cavities, but I'm otherwise using the same layout.

Any advice is appreciated.

That's not a schematic, it's a wiring diagram. But, yes, it's correct. You'll have 3 on/off switches, one volume and one tone if you eliminate the tone cut switch.

That first diagram was with the pups wired in parallel, right?  Does this make sense if I wanted to do series instead?  The pups in question are GFS Mean 90s neck and bridge, with a GFS Brassbottom Strat 7k in the mid.

Yes, the first diagram puts 2 or more pickups in parallel.

It doesn't look like the second scheme will work.

What exactly are you trying to accomplish, and what exactly do those switches look like?

The switches are the on-off slide switches Warmoth sells.  As for what I'm trying to accomplish, I'm merely looking at different wiring options (series vs. parallel).
