Armadillo hardware

My hardware from Armadillo showed up last night.

I got knobs, a bridge and saddles, strap buttons, etc.

Armadillo is a one-man operation out of Austin, TX. Great outfit to do business with. Highly recommended.

Very nice.  I love brass.  I really like the knurling on those.  I got these from guitar fretish.  Solid brass but with plastic inserts.  They used to make a solid brass dome but not any more. 

Do yours have plastic inserts?

I didn't look that closely, but I don't believe so. They have a set screw, though.

IF they have a set screw they are solid.  The old ones from GFS were solid with set screws, and had a dome top.  I think they got too expensive to sell their the $14 price point for 2, so these replaced it.  I may give Armadillo a try.  I like the super knurled ones!

I definitely recommend them. Best results had by pulling up their facebook page and sending a message. But you can order through the website as well.

Thanks! It's super easy. Some tape, a sharpie, and some ferric chloride and you're good to go.
