I remember those options, a whole pearloid laminate was also an option. From what I remember they were a standard option until mid/late 2009. I've thought for a long time that the swirl with a tequila sunburst finish would be great, or the pearloid with a blue burst finish would be nice. I keep meaning to give Warmoth a buzz and check if they can still do it although considering it's been a couple of years now I doubt they have any of the material left.

The guy that posted that on eBay also has a star body with an acrylic cherry burst. Very cool. Not my cupp-o-tea, but it's very cool.

Fender coined that term I am pretty sure. You can search these type of finishes with "MOT"
