My 2nd major at bat at life seems to be leading me back to school, but its been about 12-13 years and I'm feeling the crunch!

ISO recommendations for good study guides/advice, especially 'cause my math is rusty.

I need to take the Praxis Music Content, and the Core Assessment for Educators

Thanks in advance  :icon_thumright:

Never took that particular test, but judging by the results we get out of Michigan's public school system, I suspect all they check is pulse, respiration and temperature :laughing7:

Just kidding. I know it's usually not the teacher's fault; it's the miserable home life and retarded/absent/irresponsible parents most of these kids have.

Speaking of tests for jobs in education, one of my brothers works in the public school system as a building engineer, so I do know that even the toilet polishers have to pass a rigorous background check. He has a helluva time getting qualified employees, since we've got so many laws these days that just getting out of bed in the morning forces you to break a few, and things only get worse as the day progresses.

I looked up the Praxis test, and apparently you can take it every 21 days until you get it right. I didn't see what it cost, but if you don't make it on the first go-round, at least you'll know where you need to concentrate you efforts for the second.
