One of my bands (Cornflower Blue - the more commercial one) has some tiny traction on radio.  We're considering taking it up a notch and hiring a pro radio promoter.

Wading into this end of the music Biz, there are a lot of folks who are obviously snakes in the grass.  But I have not heard anything bad about Bryan Farrish Radio Promotion.

Anyone dealt with them?

My experience with Bryan Farrish Radio Promotion was not good. I hired them in August 2011 to do a promotion on FMQB Adult Contemporary chart for seconday commercial radio for my dance-pop single. Read the details at http://farrishbeware.com

The good news was, my record got to number #23 on the FMQB AC chart. The bad news was, I concluded that I was getting ZERO actual airplay at any of the stations on my weekly spin reports. This was money I would have definitely put elsewhere if I had known I was not going to be getting airplay.  After researching the radio stations reporting spins, I found out that 40% were not even the correct format for my record. That meant they were reporting spins, but my record would never be on the air.  I actually travelled to 3 of the stations and verified they were not playing my record at all, and Bryan refused to provide me with any station I could travel to and actually hear my record on the air, so I concluded none of them were playing it. If you want to chart on FMQB but not get airplay, I recommend Farrish.
