I'm getting closer to ordering a neck for my latest build, and I'm curious if anyone knows of anyone who makes brass Earvana nuts? I intend to get gold frets, and I'd like the nut to match better than a black or ivory one would.
Midirose had one built quite a while ago, but he had a machinist do it. I don't think that there is a commercial source, that would be a sore point for Earvana I'd assume.

I thought I saw a couple around here, but Google isn't turning anything up. I'm hoping maybe somebody has a license to make them, like Warmoth does for Fender headstocks.
i thought someone on here made earvanna style nuts. i want to say funky phil but im not sure.
i figure if he can make a plastic one he can make a metal one. brass can be worked with a file easy enough to do it if he isn't using a mill already in which case it can be done in a variety of materials
