Anybody know source for dewaxed shellac flakes, Paypalish?

I'm tired of throwing away half-cans of Zinsser Bullseye, but I'm also not going to risk using it 2 years after expiration. The flakes are an obvious solution, Stewie Mac's got 4 oz. for $13 +$7 shipping, not too bad. Any better out there? I haven't yet asked my great funky hardware store, they can order all kinds of stuff. I was surprised at the lack of Ebayers... bikini wax, anesthesia for bikini wax, jeweler's wax, jeweler's shellac, sigh. If I start looking through the S/M catalog, the war may be lost.

I've gotten supplies from www.shellac.net also - they have a website that's straight out of 1996, but they're johnny-on-the-spot when it comes to shipping and handling your order.  I'd use 'em again.

So how does it work, you just weigh some out and mix with a set volume of meths (denatured alcohol to you USA types)?
