Ebay - It's not actually really cheap, but if you scroll through "Luthier supplies - (search) Celluloid", they have a few whackadoodly patterns  that I've never seen from LMII, Duncan, Warmoth etc.

And I know they're probably filling up unmarked graves behind the Chinese prison factory pumping them out (plastics are really quite poisonous, most of 'em) but... somebody's gotta buy it, right? :dontknow:

So... do you think if they made them here or in in England or Norway or Khazamukikistan that they'd be "better" somehow? Or safer? Or less likely to to reduce the population of some insignificant algae or baitfish? It's celluloid. You either buy into it or you don't. It's not man's greatest sin. In the grand scheme of things, it's pretty benign.

Phbbt! Real men don't use pickguards. They just have have their fiddles refinished every 5,000 miles. Mr. VanHalen didn't even bother with that. He just kept taping the thing up. He's been successful enough that he launched Floyd Rose's career, and now there are a number of cottage industries that do nothing but build pre-wrecked partscasters with PITA bridges.
