Anybody build a Tele Jr? Also, a couple of questions.

This kinda thing:

I want my baritone build to have that pickguard, albeit with a regular vintage style Tele bridge + bridge pickup, but with a PAF style humbucker or mini-bucker in the neck. I'm thinking a fiesta red body, and then a bari conversion neck with a rosewood board, the end result coming out something like this:

Would I have to have a mounting ring for the neck humbucker or could it be wood mounted? And if so, how? Presumably for this build I can just order a regular fiesta red Tele body from the showcase?

I've got a build of a Tele Special coming along. PAF in the neck, p90-style tele pup in the bridge, tv white finish.

Awesome. How are you mounting the neck humbucker, with a mounting ring? Are you using the same pickguard as above?

Mine (obviously) won't be a set neck, but the originals are, I think. Nor will mine have any mahogany on it, and it will be a baritone.
