Any reason I couldn't build a carved top guitar that has a flat neck angle? Assuming I'm using a tremelo, and not a tune-o-matic bridge of some kind.

If your carved-top Soloist and Tele bodies count, then most certainly. No reason you couldn't do likewise with any other body, as long as you're using a bridge appropriate to a flat-top, bolt-neck guitar, and don't inadvertently carve off the platform the bridge has to go on (or through, for a trem system).

I'm definitely talking a custom body. What is the neck angle on the Warmoth VIP bodies though? How about the Regals?
