Stoked about this one.  Gotta love these Bare Knuckles!

Dude, that's awesome!  I really dig the tone of the guitars.  Your mixing/producing is leagues beyond mine.  Nice work!  :eek:ccasion14:

I like the comments, as well.  I could definitely see that as a sound-track for a bad-ass FPS video game.

Doc really appreciate the kind words. I think your playing is great actually!

Any goodness you might detect in my mixing and production is at the tail end of people saying how awful or unpolished it was lol. Taking negative and constructive criticism into consideration has been helpful and motivating.  I still think I have a ways to go man.

Ain't that life?!

It's all good, Frank.  But I should clarify that when I said I like the comments, too, I was talking about the comments other people left on your Soundcloud page for this composition...the soundtrack to a video game, nod to melodic metal, etc.    :icon_thumright:

Not really my kind of thing, but I gotta say it has a drive and accuracy that is to be envied. Usually, that kind of track is so dirty/sloppy/repetitive it makes old cat litter look interesting, but you've pulled it off nicely. Maybe it's the Bareknuckles, but I think it's more than that. You seem to have a good command of the instrument, gear and the recorder/mix. Good ear, and nice work.

What Cagey said.

The damn thing just reeks of competence and confidence.  Well played, Frank.

Thanks, guys.

The beauty of recording guitar is you don't hear all the cursing and swearing.  The pre-solo lead track is a nightmare; the second you get off the click, it's done.  Def not a one-take wonder lol.

I write as I record, so i never know what the next part will be until I start tracking.  If I had the mental cycles to write any other way, I could prepare myself and practice!
