I am having a problem with the tremolo I bought for my warmoth project. Never had this issue with any of my other tremolo's. I'll try to explain. When I go to restring the guitar I have a hard time getting the old string out. It is wedged up into the block of the tremolo. To get the old strings out I have to use a thin object and push it out from the top. I mean they are really wedged in and hard to get out. I get a slight buzz on my high E string and have checked all other adjustments and I am thinking that maybe the way the string is wedged in the block may be the issue. I am ready to just by a new tremolo and see if that does it. Just curious if anyone else has had this issue??

I've had this issue on a couple of string through guitars I've owned. The strings will get stuck in the ferrules and be really difficult to get out. I usually take the low E string (after I've taken it off the guitar) and use it to push the other more difficult strings out.

Using Fender Bullets may alleviate some of it, or you could thread a piece of string thru the ball end before installing a new set so you have a handle to pull it out later.
Or cut off the "ball ends" from some old strings (which are actually little tubes) and feed them into the empty block with a stiff (Low E) string, coathanger or something else so that the hole remains oriented correctly. If you can get one of THOSE to jam in there, the next string it sees will just be riding against the little brass tube.
All great advice...I just thought it was weird....never had that issue with other guitars with the exact same tremolo....the guitar actually sounds great...sometimes I just get it stuck in my lunatic head that it could effect my tone...my mental illness I guess.....thanks for the tips!
