A question about truss rod access

As a lefty I have to worry about access to the truss adjustment since Warmoth uses the side access doohicky. But from what I can see in photos it looks like they also put the truss adjustment on the headstock sometimes. And then OTHER times (I think) they will put it at the heel.

From what I can see there's no option to select where the truss access goes. So what's going on?

The construction method you choose will dictate the location of the truss rod adjust mechanism.

Vintage construction puts the adjuster at the heel.

Vintage-Modern and tilt-back headstock construction put it at the headstock.

Modern construction uses a combination heel-adjust and side-adjust mechanism, except for lefthanded, baritone, Bass VI, and 7-string necks, which are adjustable only at the heel.

Bagman67 is correct (as usual).

Left-handed necks DO NOT get a side-adjustment mechanism, regardless of construction.

If you choose a Modern Construction left-handed neck, the truss rod will be adjustable in the traditional spot at the end of the heel only.

Gotoh does not make a left-handed version of the SAM.
