A new oldy!

While I wait for my other tracks to be returned from the dude, I've decided to put my new monitors to use.  These Focals are quite revealing and are so much easier to mix on than the KRKs I started off on.  I'm slowly getting to where I want to be. I can finally hear the reverb on the snare, so I know I'm progressing lol.  I may take some bottom out of the bass guitar, but for now I likey.

After some pretty unnerving industry feedback ("the intro scared me"; "I fell out of my chair when the song kicked in"; "my cat scratched the Shazam out of me when your song started"), I rearranged the song to be more friendly to the faint of heart.  Along the way, I retracked a few guitar parts and added some snazz to the snare and crashes in the bridge. This song is finally getting closer to what I've heard in my mind.
