DUDE, that's awesome. The question here is, why haven't you joined in on the Warmoth Jam?

Thanks.

Cool stuff.  I've been sort of a stranger lately on the unofficial warmoth, still check it every day, but haven't been as active as before.  I didn't even see that.    I'll have to see if I can throw something together if I get the time.

The deadline is July 15th so plenty of time. I haven't even started on mine yet.

Thanks.  Nothing says July 4th, or American tourist, like a good ol' Hard Rock Cafe Amsterdam shirt.  I mean after the girls in Red Light disctrict, "coffee shops", Anne Frank museum, Rijksmusuem, Canals, Van Gogh Museum, Heineken brewery, tulips, the skinny bridge they point out in the James Bond movie "Diamonds are Forever", fabulous Belgian and Dutch beer bars, those shops that sell French Fries in cones smothered in Mayonaise, and wooden shoes..... you just gotta make sure to hit the Hard Rock.  It's a must visit, especially since they put little American flags in the food.  :-)

As for the video, it was recorded with just a point and click Canon digital camera on video mode.  The AUDIO however, if you look closely you'll notice, was recorded with two microphones.  An SM57 right up on the grill on the bottom right (it's sort of obscured by the pillow next to it to stop the noise from the computer. If you look close you can see the base of the mic stand), and a Neumann TLM 103 a few feet back to capture some of the room sound and get the heft of the 4x12 (that's the big silver mic out front) .  I did a pretty quick mix of the two in Digital Performer and then synched it up with the video in Moviemaker.    Youtube still distorted it a bit, but yeah... it's almost there.

Also, for you nerdy types, if you look closely you'll notice I have a picture of Frank Zappa playing the gutiar Jimi Hendrix burnt at the Miami Pop Festival above my 5150.  ;-)  Had to get some of that the mojo flowing.  Especially for the big "FU@K YEAH!!!" power chord at the end.  :-)
