No pics I'm afraid, however, though you might like to know how things are going. Well so far, the following has been completed: bridge & tailpiece studs fitted, control cavity copper foil screened and soldered, neck fitted to the body, tuners fitted to headstock [repair detailed elsewhere], pick-ups and mounting rings fitted, jack socket plate fitted, strap buttons fitted, fret ends bevelled and protruding tangs smoothed, 6 fret ends dressed so far.

To do then: 38 fret ends to do, need for fret levelling to be assessed and completed as necessary, wiring to be completed, fit knobs, fit truss rod cover & Warmoth logo, fit bridge & tailpiece, string up, tune and adjust to taste. Did I miss anything?

Celebrating with a cold beer.

(If that's allowed where you are...)

For a Braveheart, should be a Scotch!  :icon_biggrin:

Patience is a virtue - the final result will be worth it I promise...  :kewlpics:

Come join us in the states after your build is done.  I'll buy you a scotch.  It'll be metabolized by the time you get home.  Just don't eat a poppyseed muffin on the way home!

Kind of odd that there is no issue whatsoever with buying a poppyseed muffin in Saudi - you can buy bags of the stuff in supermarkets here - only the UAE gets worked up about poppy seeds, where kind of perversely, you can buy a beer, which you can't do in Saudi. Strange place...

Oh and I can also tell the "market" price of Johnny Walker in these parts...  :evil4:

OK a brief update for you all. The frets are now sorted, including a light fret dress. The logo is on the headstock and the truss rod cover fitted. The brdige and tailpiece are on and it now sports a set of 10-46 D'Addario's. All it need snow is for me to complete the wiring - a little job for this evening perhaps - then get it set up to taste...

Nearly there and looking rather good.

aahhh you are doing this on purpose!! I am boycotting this topic until there are pics!!  8o|

crap how will I know there are pics??  :sad1: :tard:

You could always check FlickR Marko  :icon_biggrin:

but I agree with you....." Come on Chris, get off your camel and on to your camera..." :icon_jokercolor:

OK. I suppose you could say that I'm closing in on this. The only things I have left to do are solder up the stuff in the control cavity. 3-way is wired up and fitted, jack socket is wired up and fitted, the caps (orange drops) have been nicely mounted onto the tone pots. I now need to put some short strands of wire on the pots to minimise what actually has to be soldered within the cavity itself, do the awkward bits inside and set the lot up. All I have to do first is a 3,000 word assignment for my MBA based on the following questions:

Q1. Undertake a resource analysis of your organisation or an organisation with which you are familiar. Based on this assessment, what steps should be taken by your selected organisation to exploit its strengths and to correct its weaknesses in relation to its current and future strategy.

Q2. "Stakeholder management is too complex to be feasible in practice". Discuss, using appropriate examples.

C'mon man!!!!!! Forget your MBA! Finish your GUITAR!!!! :icon_biggrin:

MBA is useless and for girls  :icon_jokercolor:

You're forgived... Do what you must do man... :icon_thumright:
We'll wait some more (not so much, though)

I have an idea... it's cheating, but I have an idea. You'll have to wait until tomorrow at the earliest though - now 23:30 here and time for bed.

Ah, the classic SWOT analysis!

Don't let anyone tell you an MBA is useless.  It is great for levelling out your kitchen table.  Just fold it and stick it under one of the legs.
