I'm wondering why it costs that much for this feature! From the description it sounds like the typical "put some tape on before you paint" method. What's the deal with this?
If you own a guitar, get some painters tape, and try to put it on EXTREMELY even. It is alot of work. And they have to pay whoever is doing the work, all while making a profit on top of it.
I used to think the same thing, until somebody told me to tape off my guitar.
Pinstripe is just a matter of sandwiching a thin slice of wood between the body and top.
( I guess the white one is maple, not sure what the black one is)
Don't forget that the masked binding probably involves a lot of scraping too..
