Here she is and what a guitar.  I was supposed to sell this one but my set up guy laughed at me when I told him I was going to sell it.  He said good luck because as soon as I plugged it in I would not be able to let it go.  He was right.  It weighs in at 6.55 lbs on the Fed Ex scale.  Here it is with a favorite little amp of mine, a 1964 Champ.  You can hear the amp on the Studebaker Blues Bands CD as it was used for all the harp parts and a couple of the guitar parts. http://www.myspace.com/studebakerbluesband

Glade Rasmussen did the bone nut, fret level and final set up.

Here is the low down on the build.
Single Piece Swamp Ash Body that weighed and even 3 LBS.

Here is a good shot of the Bakelite covers, vintage saddles and a good representation of the color.

It's not often that I post an opinion about the looks of a guitar, but....WOW!!!! :eek:ccasion14:

What fretboard radius did you go for?
What do you think of the DeTemple bridge?

Here's a question if you don't mind me asking - and I take no offense if you don't want to answer.

What would you sell one of these for?

Looks fantastic!!!!  Thanks for including the links to some of the parts suppliers too....I wasn't familiar with a couple of them.

Thank you all for the great comments!  I appreciate it very much.

It is a compound radius and the DeTemple sounds real good.  I don't know if it sounds $400.00 good but this guitar has a whole lot of ring.

What would you sell one of these for?

It would be very difficult to put a price on this guitar because of the Bakelite Covers, Saddles and the vintage capacitor all of which I already had.  The price on that stuff is off the charts.

As far as the labor on a guitar like this, I would charge $450 to finish a body and neck and Glade is $300.00 for the Nut, Fret Level and final set up.  I have use several set up guys since 1977 and I have not found one as good as him.

All the other costs can be found on the different web sights that I linked to in the original post.
