The year has come and gone, and 2012 had some really special guitar of the month winners.

In January each year, GOTM staff re-submits each month's winner from the past year, for special consideration as Guitar of the Year.  In 2012, we didn't run the contest for a few months, but all winners will be listed.

Without further adieu,

JEEZ!!! D'ya think you could make it just a little MORE DIFFICULT TO CHOOSE JUST ONE??!!
Damn incredible group of instruments there--you should ALL be truly proud!

Nice lighting/shadows job on the Congratulations Black Dog...click here to view!  :icon_thumright:

Corrected, and no offense meant.  Thanks for bringing that to our attention.  Putting the list together was a lot of cut and paste with several browsers open at the same time... just human error.

GOTM staff apologizes for the error.

That baby-blue bass has got me worried... but then, so do all the other axes.  Great company!

None taken.  I made MANY errors in the years I ran the contest.  Tough to keep all the browsers synced!  I still have issues with polls!!!! :dontknow:

No disrespect to billy-Bo.....but I won november
Kinda threw me for a loop there a moment, 'cause I couldn't figure out why my Billy Bo was in this.... :icon_scratch:

Well Doug, Billy Bo may not have had it's own month in the top right, but it's all win!  I voted for it every time I could, which may be a curse, because historically I haven't picked winners.

Why thank you Gary, I appreciate that.... :icon_thumright:

I can't recall if I voted for Billy Bo every time, but it was always a very strong contender.

I have always been envious of Billy Bo!  It is a sweeeet geetar indeed  :headbang1:
:rock-on:

Thanks guys, it's not for everybody. It took me awhile to warm up to the shape, but it grows on you.. But then again I like strange and out of the ordinary stuff... :laughing7:

I think I voted for all these guitars at least once before  :icon_jokercolor:
Me too, and I pretty much have a connection with 5 outta 8 of them...So if one of them win, I win too... :toothy12:

Wow, only one Strat all year.  But what a Strat!  And I agree, lots of lovely Teles.  I still love that spalt and that black and white Tele.  Not a bad pick in the bunch though.

:dontknow:  ...... how about an 8 way tie .....

It's just to hard to decide, my brain hurts  :icon_biggrin:

All Bloody Beauties, if ya ask me  :icon_thumright:
