I think. The crowning touch is the single ply guard w/ minimal screws.

IMHO the little choices that are “unconventional” are what make this one of the nicer partscasters I’ve seen

Convention being - an 8 hole solid black pickguard instead of 5, or not being W/B/W, a black nut and tuners instead of bone/gold, maple on black instead of rw/ebiony… it’s a nice blend of old school black beauty and modernity

I think it’s very tasteful and a job well done.

Edit: I didn’t even see the knobs. I love this guitar.
