1st Strat Build From Scratch

Here's a few pics of my first Strat body from scratch. Wanted to see the Cypress body wood...so cleanlined both front and back. Maple veneer is done in Tobacco Burst. A little different...but it's growing on me.

Wow! Sand and polish that orange-peel out and it's going to be absolutely stunning!

How many coats do you usually use before buffing, it's SW nitro and has 2 coats of clear, then toner coats of color, then 5 coats of clear.
