Just upgraded the hardware on my son's RG550 Gunslinger Mutt...as I ran across a steal of a deal on a 1986 PL1770 Bound Ebony Fretboard Neck w/White Gold Hardware and matching First Year Edge Tremolo.
I was going to swap the PL1770 Neck onto the guitar but the RG550 Neck fits perfectly so I simply switched out the hardware, neck plate and trem to the 1986 Ibanez White Gold Stuff and (IMHO) it came out looking great!
