While installing my new Schaller Minis, the head broke off the of the first screw. I figure I didn't drill deep enough into the hard maple headstock. Pain in the ass...after waiting 6 weeks for the neck......................the other 5 went in fine...but...here is the problem... How to exract...

I have been searching for this "low adhesion" tape ever since it was suggested by the Taylor Guitar techs, 'how to clean a fretboard ( masking off the soundhole)' on their website, but I have never found any such named tape. He used a brown low adhesion masking tape....I have searched Home Depot...

My Warmoth neck is being finished as we speak, but my concern is that the ebony fretboard is somewhat streaked, lighter in some of the upper fret positions. My question is this; can I add some additional dark stain very carefully to the lighter areas of the fretboard to make it unformily...
