Paying extra for lightweight and getting something over 4lbs is disappointing. I was about to get a dinkycaster too and pay for something lightweight, but maybe I'll wait to see if they offer chambering one day. My favorite strat body is a little under 3lb and is a joy to pick up and play.

Probably the coolest looking guitar from Warmoth now. I'll have to start coming up with excuses on why I need a new guitar. By the way, does anyone have any idea why this and the dinkycaster can't be chambered? Is it the odd shape? Would that make them too light?

Thanks to everyone for their input! I'm debating between black and ivory for now, although the obnoxious pearloid does sound tempting... Hopefully, I'll be able to post some pictures later this year so future Warmoth buyers can use it as a reference.

I'm thinking of a VIP in tobacco burst, but I'm not a fan of binding. Anyone have tortoise binding on tobacco burst? Does it blend in nicely?

When I asked a month or so ago about them ever offering the Meadowhawk in the future, they said that they don't do custom body shapes. Not sure what that really means, but I'm guessing it's going to be a while.

I've been wanting a black korina jazzmaster like this forever, but I'm waiting for them to bring back unique choice... 😭 The wood is perfect on that tele.

Thanks for the heads-up. That velocity body looks incredible, but those myrtle tops are extremely tempting too as you pointed out... I only have space for one more guitar in my house, so it's getting hard to decide...

This is really good information. Thanks a lot. I checked the positions on the Warmoth website again, and it did look like I'd need to do a little dremel work on the top edges if I got a humbucker/mini humbucker/etc rout.
