I placed an order for an in-stock showcase neck on Friday, 2/18. Added SS frets and a Tusq nut. No finish since it’s roasted maple. Got an email with tracking info just a couple of minutes ago  :)

That’s a bummer! I’m sorry. Hopefully you get it soon. It seems like 7 weeks would be plenty of time for paint.

Have you emailed or called/have they responded? I found they were quick to reply when I felt there was an issue with the neck I received.

I would be starting to get frustrated, too. That’s well beyond the “regular wait +4 weeks” they note. I know everything is crazy right now, but a little communication goes a long ways.

I ordered an in-stock showcase neck in early January. Specified stainless steel frets and the neck was delivered two weeks and one day after I ordered it. But I ended up returning it. Ordered another showcase neck, also with stainless steel frets, last Friday. Will update here when it gets...

Sorry—I should have clarified. It wasn’t listed as discounted or marked down. I just meant that the price was within that range of current listings.  Kind of how they currently have roasted maple Tele necks listed for 232 to 257 depending on features and whatnot.

I’ve got to admit…I have no idea what that oats bit was about, but it made me laugh, so thanks for that  :) I was going for that pun in the title. My son groaned quite a bit when I ran it by him.

New user here! I ordered a roasted maple neck from the showcase on the afternoon of 1/5 (last Wednesday). I opted for stainless steel frets (it had none) and a Graphtech Tusq nut. No finish since it’s roasted. I just got an email with the UPS tracking number a few minutes ago  :cool01:
