To me, nothing screams 70's more than sparkly, flake finishes like we saw on motorcycle helmets and vans. Warmoth has flake, but you need more 70s colors. Mustard yellow, avocado green, corduroy brown, etc. That should be your next special run. I'll take my commission in Warmoth gift cards...

I just finished a refin on a 1959 LPS and used the Eagle abrasives for the first time and I'm quite impressed. I didn't go full gloss but I suspect wet sanding will be better if you want it glass smooth. I've still got drawers full of wet/dry paper so I'm not about to replace it all. But...
