Warmoth also includes insurance on every shipment, so if your $800 custom body gets lost by UPS or USPS, you are not out the money and your new guitar. This insurance is based on dollar value of your order, which is why you see the increase on more expensive orders.
Well, circa 2011 we were shooting Nitro on bodies as a satin finish, but you couldn't even look at the body without it getting scratched/fingerprints/glossed up. We took a hiatus for awhile, then came back with the Poly Satin that has none of those issues. :)
Yes, the 4.13 is the weight. If the body was made before 6/2022, then it will denote 4lb 13oz. If it was made after 6/2022, then it will signify 4.13lb (4lb 2oz).
Ideally items are added every day, but it depends on the shop output (labor available + custom orders v in stock production), and also if I have time 😂
Duplicates aren't intentionally made, but if the first one isn't made quite right (large mineral streak in the wood, wrong side inlay or back contour or radius etc), that one goes up on the Showcase and the custom order is remade.
The red dot on the heel means it has a satin finish on it. The fretwire is correct as SS6150.
Chech out this Warmoth video called "Why is there finish all over my frets?"
