It's getting a Warmoth neck soo....

Don’t feel bad. It’s definitely not for everybody. I’ve done it for 10 years now. I can’t exactly call it the best job I’ve ever had!!! Sometimes, it’s downright horrible depending who the supervisors are. I actually like the route I’m on now. It’s in a really nice neighborhood. It’s actually...

Thank you, Spud. I appreciate that. As a member of the mail delivery profession, I’d have to agree on Pomeranians. 🤣 And despite what the Queen thought, I’ve never met a friendly Corgi either. Basically small dogs in general have a real hatred for the mailman!!!

I realize I’m being completely unhelpful, but the title of this thread almost sounds like a golf tournament! It made me chuckle. I’ll just head back out now…

It's getting a Warmoth neck soo....

It took me a while to write this response, my dang “allergies” kept bubbling up!!! I will freely admit I’m not the most emotional guy in the world, but your article brought back a ton of memories of our last two that passed within days of each other. I didn’t want to write a big long thing about...

I was actually going to say something about the old headstock this morning! No kidding. You really are one step ahead of me. 😕 I’m glad I let that play out. 😅 What is the significance of the red dog, if I may ask? I can see if it was an artistic expression (representation???) of a red potato skin!

Here are the P90's I have so far. Duncan Stack, Lollar Standard, and Wolfetone Meaner. The Righteous Ninja will probably be here in July if the lead times are correct. In the pics, the order from left to right is; Wolfetone, Lollar, Duncan. The Wolfetone certainly looks the most handmade as...

    Kinman Questions/Concerns

So, the Lollar and Wolfetone showed up today. I ordered both Monday night. That was a quick turnaround! It's interesting that Warmoth, Lollar, and Wolfetone are within 50 miles of each other. There must be something in the water up there. Since this thread has pretty much abandoned its...

Damnit! I thought I had you this time.

It's getting a Warmoth neck soo....

This is purely about looks: I like the subdued aesthetic of the bridge and middle pickups with the thin rails. Going from wide spaced in the bridge, to closer in the middle. I, personally, would try to find a neck pickup with one thin rail. But that’s just me. Does the Duncan Mini only come in...

    Kinman Questions/Concerns

👍 I do the same thing. The fine tuning adjustability of the gate is a thing of beauty. When you find the spot where it doesn’t abruptly clamp down on the noise, but appears to just naturally squeeze the noise away. Man, that’s something! I can’t even really describe it.

    Kinman Questions/Concerns

Thanks. I actually did check them out. The only reason I didn’t consider them further, was that I already have two noiseless. I think it’s a personal thing to limit myself to only four pickups. Otherwise I’d probably go overboard and get stupid with testing 20 pickups in order to find that...

    Kinman Questions/Concerns

Exactly. I was thinking I shouldn’t need more than adjusting the gate.

    Kinman Questions/Concerns

Thanks for all your responses, I really appreciate it. If I do ultimately end up going with either the Lollar or Wolfetone, I figure I should be able to mitigate most of the noise should I find it bothersome. At this point, I only play at home for the sheer joy of it. Through a Fractal FM3...

    V-locity build

Updating to include the pickup choices I talked about in this thread; Kinman Questions/Concerns | Unofficial Warmoth Forum I will be choosing one pickup to go in this build out of these four options. The first two are noiseless (what some people like to call "humbuckers", and not really P90's)...

    Kinman Questions/Concerns

I looked on Reverb, Amazon, and a couple of other sellers. They didn't have the Kinman P90's I wanted. Back to the Kinman website, again! I tried on Mac, PC, even my phone. Multiple browsers on each platform. No bueno! It wouldn't finalize the customize options, to allow adding to the cart, in...
