The drummimg sounds familiar, and of course the original melody, but I never actually listened to anything that Cozy did as an individual artist, so this was very interesting - thanks!

Based on the video, that Zep song is much older than I remembered

Damn @stratamania , now I am feeling really old! But on the other hand, the guys performing there are now even older 😜

As Rush is not touring any longer, I have listened to the best Rush cover band every now and then.

@mrpinter The sound quality of that Bill Evans record is really unbeliavable - from 1962!

New video: Top 5 Secret Warmoth options

Great video - once again! Out of those options I actually thought about the painted headstock, but as I went for laser engraving of the name ”Coffee” the company that did it said it was best to do directly on the wood (without paint). That bonus option (”heads of state” :) ) sounds very...

Coffee - Superstrat with a twist

@Bruce Campbell the main reason for going with just one pickup was the early EVH influence + I wanted to see if I could get all the sounds I wanted with just one pickup. I had read everything on the internet when it comes to (also) this, so yes, I was aware of Phil X and others saying that it...

New video: Warmoths versus a Les Paul

I listened mostly to the gain sounds in the beginning (and I liked the sound a lot). I though A and C sound similar, with A sounding a bit bigger. So my guess was that B was the LP. But you’re right, low gain pickups ( and rolling off the volume) would probably make for bigger differences.

My first post (Warmoth Strat build)

I checked out some videos from a Suhr concert a few years ago, and Thornley definitely sounds good - including his voice, which reminds me of Chris Cornell. And yes, I think it is wrong that the guitars we make or buy don’t make us sounds as our heroes :)

I had the pleasure to experience the Classic Rock Show in Helsinki, Finland last night. They have traditionally been touring only in the UK, but have now extended the tour to the wider Europe - and next month they will be in the US. I usually don’t go to see cover bands, but these guys play...

My first post (Warmoth Strat build)

Very nice looking guitar, a great tribute, and it seems that you have a few builds with a similar body, but with ”variations of the theme”. When it comes to the guitarist I had to google, and the first hit was Ian Thonley.
