how many of you guys use the shielding tape when you build? i've done 3 tele's and haven't shielded any of them. All of them sound great no excesive noiese.PS none of my custom shop guitars appear to be shielded.

tortise was the other one i had in mind  but then i kind of wanted to stay true to the fender origenal. maybe i should just order both  then the one i don't use caan go on the next project

I know the standard answer from warmoth on neck orders is 10 to 12 weeks. But what have people really been experiancing lately? Got some new stuff ordered and as always the waiting is the hardest part.

i dug thru the paper hang tags ect that came with the guitar  it is a "62 reissue and the thing is called a Gibson super tune vibrato  There is a gibson logo on it and a pat. number. Upon further examination it is slightly routed out under the unit.  So replacing it with a stop tail isn't going...
