Neck arrived today around noon. Did that whole burnishing thing to it, didn't do any fret work yet. Got too impatient. Got it strung up, and *man* it's nice. I don't hate the V, so that's good. Will get some pics in better lighting some other time. Right now, back to playing it.
I am getting *very* excited about the Canary neck. I have a roasted maple neck on the VIP, and if it feels half as good as that I think I am in for a treat. Not quite sure how I will like the Clapton neck profile, but I wanted an in-between of my current fatback necks, and the roasted maple...

Really depends on what I am playing; for metal, thicker picks work better for me. But for Funk and Jazz stuff, I prefer thinner picks with less audible popping.

Yeah! I watched the video after commenting, just had to mention the design. Very, very, very cool pedal. I really love how it does the whole tube break-up sound with the volume control. Wizardry.
