I've owned several Peavys and the 30 is a great amp.  I'd recommend upgrading the tubes.  The only drawback to one is that they can get a really piercing high end with single coils if you're not careful.  I would also check out the new Epi blues amp, which is a 30 watter.  As a reference with my...
